About the Event
The 2026 OECD/IOPS/MPFA Global Forum on Private Pensions (the Global Forum) will be held on 8-9 December 2026 in Hong Kong, China. The Global Forum is jointly hosted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS) and Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA), Hong Kong, China.
As a flagship international event, the Global Forum will comprise two days of plenary discussion sessions and will gather high-level officials from supervisory authorities in OECD and IOPS member jurisdictions, representatives from other international organizations as well as leading experts from the pension fund industry and research institutes.
The Global Forum will explore key trends and policy developments in private pensions, including digitalization and the use of Artificial Intelligence, life-cycle investment strategies and benefits of diversification, encouraging voluntary contributions, the role of financial centres in retirement protection, updates on international standards and exchanges in supervisory practices.
The conference venue will be the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
